Western Express Divers Offers Assistance

On a cold day in Ohio, Gary and Bonnie Pigman were making there way to an important meeting—signing Bonnie’s State Teacher’s Retirement papers. Ice blown off the road by another vehicle exploded through the windshield of their car. Western Express driver Russell Cox was in front of the Pigmans when the accident occurred. He stopped to offer assistance, providing materials and helping cover the shattered window so they could continue on their journey.

Bonnie Pigman wrote a letter to Western Express conveying her gratitude for the professional, courteous assistance offered by Cox. The company would like to extend a public thank you to this outstanding driver and Good Samaritan. Cox is a driver and trainer at Western Express and has been with the company since 2005.
