Boyd Wins ATA Safety Contest
Birmingham, AL – Boyd Bros., headquartered in Clayton, AL, was recently named the Alabama Trucking Association’s Safety Contest winner in the area of General Commodities Line Haul Division. This is common feeling for Boyd having won in 2003 as well. “As one of the largest flatbed carriers out there, it is a great honor to be granted this award,” says Betty Nix, Director of Driver Personnel. “This award truly reflects the emphasis we put on safety here at Boyd.”
The award is sponsored by the ATA worker’s compensation fund and will be given to Boyd on March 27 at the ATA banquet. The award winner is based on the amount of miles traveled in the state of Alabama. “We enjoy winning this in our home state, it means a lot to the Boyd driver family,” says Nix.
