Willis Shaw Express Honors Drivers of the Year

March 2005 -- Willis Shaw Express named Darrell Branstetter as Company Driver of the Year and John Henry as Owner Operator of the Year.

"Darrell is a real pro. Always cooperative and wants to do a good job for our customers and for Willis Shaw, " said Howell Skelton, Fleet Manager of Company Driver of the Year, Darrell Branstetter. Branstetter started with WSE as a company driver in 1998 and operates in the company's longhaul division. The day Branstetter was a awarded his leather jacket and plaque, he signed on his own truck and officially became an Owner Operator for Willis Shaw.If he isn't trucking, Branstetter enjoys hunting and other outdoor activities. He usually takes an extended trip each year to pursue various big game.

Owner Operator of the Year for 2004, John Henry has been with WSE 6 years. "[John] is extremely reliable and is always willing to help other drivers that may encounter problems," said Susan Hamann, Henry's Fleet Manager. "He is a great individual and a very professional Owner Operator." During his time with Willis Shaw Henry has operated in the company's Atlanta regional and longhaul operations. He currently operates in WSE's Arkansas regional operation. Henry attributes a lot of his success to his wife, Heather, with whom he has two sons. Other than time with his family, Henry enjoys fishing in his free time.
