Paschall Truck Lines Honors Driver and Owner Operator

Paschall Truck Lines (PTL) proudly announces their awards for November Driver and Owner Operator of the Month. Congratulations to Louis Waggoner, Driver of the Month, and Mark Womble, Owner Operator of the Month.

Waggoner has diverse work experiences. In addition to being a professional truck driver, he served in the Navy and worked as a warehouse manager. Waggoner has been a driver for ten years, four of which have been at PTL. He enjoyed seeing the world in the Navy and says he now enjoys traveling the United States as a driver.

Waggoner says he would like to work with PTL as long as possible because of the great people in the office and the company as a whole. “It makes it much better when you know you have someone who will help you with any problem,” he said.

Away from work, Waggoner spends as much time as possible with his wife, Brenda, and their three children: Tracy, Marcie, and Alex. Waggoner has received safety awards from PTL in addition to this award.

Womble has been driving for eleven years, eight of which have been with PTL. He credits his wife Jamie with changing his life for the better and he says he wouldn’t be driving if it weren’t for her. Womble says his most exciting driving experiences took place when he was part of a driving team with his wife. Womble also said he enjoys meeting people while driving and the freedom that being a truck driver brings.

Womble was awarded the Owner Operator of the Month award in February 2003. He has also received a 800,000 mile safe driving award. When not driving, he enjoys relaxing with his wife and their two children, Heather and Nikkie. Womble also enjoys doing yard work but he says he hopes to “work forever.”
