17 MCT Contractors Reach One Million Miles

Sioux Falls, S.D. — MCT Transportation, LLC, a truckload carrier based in Sioux Falls, S.D., recently announced that 17 of its contractors have safely reached one million miles:

Robin Barter of Florida, Tony Boatman of Florida, Alan Cook of Iowa, Keith Engler of South Dakota, Craig Gappa of Iowa, Daryl Meindl of Oregon, Wade Morrill of Florida, Dale Nordine of South Dakota, Patricia Renaud of Arizona, Steven Sitter of South Dakota, Brian Smith of Ohio, Keith Steineke of South Dakota, Dale Troll of South Dakota, Fred Trutt of Washington, Larry VanBeek of Wisconsin, David Walters of South Dakota and Billy Wheeler of Texas.

“These individuals represent the best of the best, and everyone at MCT appreciates their commitment to safe, skillful operation,” said Jeff Gillespie, vice president of safety. “By reaching this milestone, these contractors join the elite group of over 125 other contractors at MCT who have one million or more safe miles behind them.” To date, about 21 percent of the contractors at MCT have one million or more safe driving miles.

To recognize their achievement, MCT will award each driver a plaque with his or her name on it, a company watch and an assortment of other MCT-branded prizes.
