Paschall Truck Lines Announces December Awards

Paschall Truck Lines (PTL) congratulates the winners of the December 2005 Company Driver and Owner Operator of the Month Awards. William O’Connor is the Company Driver of the Month and William Harmon is the Owner Operator of the Month.

O’Connor says he loves getting paid to do a job he loves. He also enjoys seeing the country as a driver. O’Connor has 12 years of driving experience with eight completed at PTL. He says his nicest driving experience was when a citizen called to compliment him on his safe and courteous driving.
O’Connor has 900,000 Safe Driving Miles and also received Driver of the Month for September 2003. He would like to thank Jamie Haley, Tonya Timmons, Dale Torsak and the planning staff for keeping him running.
Away from work, O’Connor can be found playing with his grandchildren. After retiring, he plans to spoil his grandchildren with his time and attention.

Harmon enjoys seeing different places while driving and experiencing all the seasons in various areas. His favorite road experience occurred when his wife of 34 years, Donna, went over the road with him for three weeks—they were able to see 37 states. Harmon has been driving ten years and has been partnered with PTL for five.
A first-time Driver of the Month, Harmon said, “I want to thank my sons Scott, Steven and Stacy for helping out at home when I am not there. Most of all, I want to thank my wife for her patience and understanding of what my job entails. Also, thanks to James, Barry and David for working with me.”

Harmon plans to retire on a lake, spending time golfing, hunting and fishing.
