“Everything just clicks at Christner!”

After more than three decades on the road, Bandit Crane says he’s gotten everything he hoped for from his trucking career.
“My first 15 years in this industry was spent with other companies. Bouncing from company to company, I had a tiny apartment, no money and no future,” says Bandit. “Then I joined Christner and for the past 15 years, everything has clicked. I’ve built my own home, I own a ranch; have 25 head of horses, a nice dually pick-up truck, an $89,000 horse trailer, and everything I’ve wanted from my career.”

Bandit credits owner John Christner and the staff at JCT. “It doesn’t matter who you are, they have time for you,” he says. “If you drive for Christner, you’re going to meet John, he’s going to get to know you. As a matter of fact, I’m bringing in hay for my horses this week and John loaned me his flatbed trailer to bring it in. He’s just that kind of guy. If one of his people needs help, he gives it.”

Generally, Bandit drives from Texas to Arizona and back hauling beef, chicken and produce. “Every once in a while I get a load of Tootsie Rolls or something else to keep a fat man like me happy,” says Bandit.
Company Drivers at JCT enjoy 401(k) with profit sharing, 100 percent lumper pay, Blue Cross/Blue Shield life insurance, and excellent equipment. Owner operators earn highly competitive compensation rates, steady freight, company paid base plates, permits, paid road & fuel taxes, tolls, lumpers, fuel surcharge
