MONDOVI, WI: Marten Transport, Ltd. has announced a pay increase to go into effect on April 1, 2004 to .84 cents per mile for all Independent Contractors and Lease Purchase drivers. With all the extras that Marten Transport, Ltd. already pays, this increase will certainly keep Marten at the top . �Marten Transport has developed a philosophy that has served our business very well,� said Randy Marten, President & CEO. �Treat your employees and customers with the respect they deserve, and success will come naturally.�
Marten has won first place in the Truckload Carriers Association Safety Contest in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001. �This is all due to the incredible drivers that make it possible for us to stay on top,� said Linda Keepers, Recruiter for Independent Contractors.
