Decker Recognizes Million Mile Team
Fort Dodge, Iowa — Decker Truck Line, Inc. recently recognized six drivers and owner-operators who have been inducted into the company’s prestigious Million Mile Team. The inductees for 2006 recognized for attaining one million miles are: Kenneth Harden of Tinley Park, IL; William Locke of Fort Dodge, Iowa; William Pena of Mesquite, Texas; Mark Tracy of Fort Dodge, Iowa; Daniel Welsh of Pittsburgh, PA; and Charlie Wilson of Hartford, Iowa. more
20-Year Driving Veteran Finds Support with FFE
Jonathan Leisner of Okeechobee, Fla., has spent 20 years driving a truck for a living, but considers the last 18 weeks to be hands-down the best. That is how long he has been in FFE’s Clean Slate Lease Program. “I wish I would have done this 20 years ago,” Leisner said. “FFE has given me the tools to succeed, including the support staff. I don’t have to solve my own problems.” more

Texas Cowboy Celebrates New Truck & Career at FFE
It’s an exciting day for Donald Hatfield. On Monday, November 6, he swings into the driver’s seat of a brand-new, $125,000 truck complete with APU. As he turns the key he shares his thoughts.
“It’s nice to get into a brand-new truck with all the bells and whistles,” said Hatfield. “It is just a wonderful day to me. I’m celebrating being this successful with FFE and I’m excited that they would even offer me this truck. That takes a lot of faith.” more
Hoekstra Transportation Announces Driver of the Year 2006
St. Anne, Ill. — Hoekstra Transportation recently honored Ron Leoni as Driver of the Year for 2006. Ron came to Hoekstra in 2005 with a background in the transportation business. Since that time, Ron’s positive attitude and focus on safety has earned him recognition as Hoekstra’s 2006 Driver of the Year. more
MISSISSIPPI FOOD NETWORK ANNOUNCES 2006 HUNGER’S HERO AWARD
Jackson, MS (December 12, 2006) - Each year the Mississippi Food Network recognizes an individual and/or company with the Hunger’s Hero Awards. The Hunger’s Hero Award is the highest honor of the Network and is presented in recognition of leadership in the Network’s effort to alleviate hunger in our State. This year the award was presented to KLLM Transport Services. Earlier in the year, KLLM donated a 53 foot refrigerated trailer to Mississippi Food Network to be used in the distribution of food across the State. Jim Richards, Chief Operating Officer of KLLM, accepted the award from Floyd Sulser, Chairman of the Mississippi Food Network Board. more
Sitton Motor Lines Public Education Program Recognized
Sitton Motor Lines recently received the Missouri Statewide Highway Safety Leadership Award for the company’s dedication to the public safety education “Share the Road” program. The program focuses on the irreversible consequences of inattentive and impaired driving. more
Sitton Motor Lines Announces Most Recent Driver of the Month
Sitton Motor Lines congratulates Robert Morris on being named Driver of the Month. Morris, an owner operator from Lake Lotawana, Missouri, was also awarded Driver of the Year for 2000 in addition to this award. As Driver of the Month, he receives an embroidered jacket, a $150 savings bond, a framed certificate and a choice among other prizes. more

WH Transportation Announces their 2006 Honors Fleet Award Recipients
(Wausau, WI) WH Transportation Co, Inc. recently announced the recipients of the distinguished Honors Fleet award given to the top 10% of the fleet for their professional service during the past year. To be considered for the Honor Fleet award, drivers must drive a minimum of 125,000 miles during the year, have no chargeable accidents or work place injuries, have no late deliveries, and meet company parameters for idle time and speed control.
