Bolt Express Names Team of Charles & Noreen Baldy January Drivers of the Month

January 31, 2007 (Toledo, Ohio) – Husband and wife owner operator team Charles and Noreen Baldy have been named January Drivers of the Month at Bolt Express, an expedite carrier based in Toledo.

Charles Baldy, who has been driving since June 1971, started with Bolt Express in July 2006. “I’ve been extremely satisfied with my experience at Bolt so far. My wife and I love it. They really try to work with us; they are always very helpful and cooperative, especially dispatch,” says Charles. The couple was even featured in a promotional video for the company back in October 2006. “This is retirement for us. We get to make money and see the country together. It makes it a lot easier to be on the road when you get to have your wife with you,” adds Charles.

Noreen, who began her driving career with Bolt Express in October, 2006, was previously employed with Key Bank in Cleveland, Ohio. “This is my first driving experience, and even though it is still work to be taken seriously, it’s actually pretty fun. I used to measure my time in hours, now I get to measure it in states in which I’ve traveled. I love it!” says Noreen. She adds, “For being a first-time driver, Bolt has been a great experience. They make you feel comfortable, always have time for you and provide an overall pleasant atmosphere.”

The couple, who reside in Cleveland, Ohio, has three kids and nine grandkids. They primarily enjoy spending their home time with their family and attending the grandkids sporting events. They have also been long time campers with the family.
