Landstar Names Scheifele Jacksonville Service Center Employee of the Month
Jacksonville, Florida (NASDAQ-LSTR) Landstar System, Inc., a safety-first non-asset based provider of transportation capacity and logistics services, has named Alexis Scheifele January Employee of the Month at the company's Jacksonville, Florida, service center.
Scheifele was recognized for her work as a Freight Coordinator in Landstar's Freight Operations department. She joined the company in April 2002.
"Alexis takes ownership of recordkeeping and she maintains our documentation down to the smallest of details,” said Director of Freight Operations Pam Ball. “She is the lifeline to our regional staff and often is at her best when a problem that needs immediate attention arises.”

Scheifele makes her home in Jacksonville and also attends Florida Community College at Jacksonville .
