Barr-Nunn continues to make a difference
Granger, IA – Barr-Nunn Transportation recently announced that effective March 1, 2005 they will pay monthly fuel taxes for all Barr-Nunn Contractors. This announcement comes on the heals of their January 1, 2005 renewed commitment to guarantee contractors $1.04 per gallon fuel and raise their pay cap to 90 cents per mile.
“We support our contractors with real profit,” explained Doug Albrecht, director of recruiting. “Our owner operators no longer have to worry about fuel prices or fuel taxes plus for every 60,000 safe miles they increase their pay by half a cent per mile up to 90 cents per mile and that equals real success here at Barr-Nunn. We ask and we listen to our contractors because the difference is real at Barr-Nunn.”
