Recruiting drivers in 2004 paid off in a big way for Maverick Driver Mike Merrill, as he was recently awarded Maverick’s 2004 Referral Winner of the Year.
Merrill, a
resident of Beebe, AR, has driven for Maverick for almost 2 years.
As winner, he will receive a vacation valued at $1,700, a week of
paid vacation from work, and an additional $500 of spending money.
“My wife and I have 5 children, so this prize is definitely a
blessing for all of us. The referral prize is just icing on the
cake. Since I came on board at Maverick, we’ve become
financially able to live an all around higher standard of
life.”
As for his success in referring drivers, Merrill says,
“Working for Maverick really sells itself. I always try to
help fellow flatbedders out, whether they work for Maverick or not.
This usually strikes up a conversation and we often end up talking
about working at Maverick.”
