PTL Announces Company Driver and Owner-Operator of the Month for September 2003

Paschall Truck Lines honors and congratulates William O'Connor as the September Company Driver of the Month and Larry and Linda McClain as September Owner/Operator Driver of the Month.

O'Connor is a well-accomplished driver having achieved 700,000 Safe Driving Miles in addition to this award.  He credits most of that success to the team of outstanding workers at PTL that help him day to day.  O'Connor extended a special thanks to the fleet managers, coordinators, directors, and planners for keeping him running. PTL is a good company, they really care about the drivers," said O'Connor.  Prior to a career in truck driving, O¹Connor worked as an accountant for a natural gas company.  He became a professional truck driver ten years ago and has been with PTL for the past six years.  According to O¹Connor, the best thing about being a driver is seeing the country and meeting a lot of nice people.  When he¹s not on the road, this resident of El Paso, Texas enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.

Paschall Truck Lines would also like to congratulate Larry and Linda McClain on being named September Owner/Operator Driver of the Month.  The couple was very surprised when they heard about their award.  They instantly thanked their fleet managers, Greg Cunningham and Stephanie Rutledge, for all their help.  When they¹re not being rewarded for their driving skills, Larry McClain likes to ride his Harley, while Linda McClain enjoys cooking and shopping for antiques.  This husband and wife team has been driving for PTL for five years and has achieved 200,000 Safe Driving Miles.  According to both, the best part of being a truck driver is traveling and meeting new people and the best part of driving for PTL is the great friendships they have made at the company.
