Veteran needs assistance

Postby rfiore on Tue Sep 22, 2009 12:57 pm

I am with a group of Veterans who for various reasons are in a homeless program. They are trying to regain their lives and working hard within their program. Some veterans do have some questionable backgrounds (criminal, Motor Vehicle, Child Support, etc...). I am looking for information on any company or companies that might be willing to work with this program, to assist veterans who have CDL's gain succesful employment.

If you know of anyone please forward my information to them have them contact me.

The truth is the trucking industry as a whole has tightened the hiring due to lack of freight and the economy. A driver must have at least been driving in the last 6 months. Very few companies have a company paid training program and the ones that do want a clean back ground. The new regs comming in 2010 are going to make company recruiting even tighter.
