Truck driving need info.

trying to find out if I can get a job in truck driving if my driving record is less than perfect. I have a dui in 1997 and one in 2000. How bad does this hurt my chance of getting a truckdriving job.

Did you go to the schools and have your paperwork saying that you did then it really shouldn't be all that bad. all you can do is try and it won't hurt i promise

I dont want to discourage you, but I have some close friends that have a couple DUI's on their record, and the best they can get are local tri-axle dump truck jobs. One's bad enough-but two...man, I dont know-anyway, good luck.

If you can get through to fall of 2010 you'll be taking part in a huge turn around in trucking, a DUI that old normally wouldn't have hurt you - but right now people with nothing in their background are having trouble finding work that pays better than $400.00 per week. - if you have an application on www.everytruckjob.com I'll be happy to look it up and see what we can do hands on.
