Stock rose across the board today in the Transportation Area. Landstar and CH Robinson Had the biggest Gain today.

JBHT JB Hunt 20.82 +0.31

Jb Hunt Has an investor risk factor of 182. In comparison Werner has a investor risk factor of 149 and Walmart has an investor Risk Factor of 98.

Risk Factors are not set and do change with the market.

JB Hunt's Stocks have dropped close to $5 a share (from a peak price this year of 25.84) since May and thus have driven up the risk factor. JB Hunts Lowest stock price this year has been 20.51

This is not abnormal for trucking companies in the Transportation Industry. Transportation is currently considered a bad short term investment.

I hate to reply and mess up this thread, but I had a question for you and an ideal for future posts....

Have you heard at all why CHRobinson is posting such a gain? I did a quick search and did not see any new press releases from them.

future posts - how about each date being a seperate post that way the thread does not get messed up if someone wanted to comment on that days gains/losses.

All in all I think this is a good ideal and would also like to see some basic investment how-tos nothing major, just some ideals and suggests someone new to investing could follow, i can imagine too many truckers are former stock brokers.... ... maybe even some feedback on the various investment firms, online trading options, tools people use etc...
