Allrighty, I know someone that contacted a recruiter for this school and the recruiter (Vernon) lied to him about everything. He was told that his 9 year old felony wouldn't stop him from getting a job if he completed his training and getting a job, and as it turns out he has found out that the felony has to be 10 years old not 9 years old. Also was told that their job placement was great 300 or more companies would actually come to the school and recruit the new drivers for their companies and only 1 showed up WERNER. He was also told that since he was private pay he would have his own room and he had to share his room. And since he allready had his CDL permit he would only have to stay 5 to 7 days just for his training. ALL LIES. ALL LIES. ALL LIES. This recruiter didnt tell the truth about anything well as far as i know he may of lied about his name. So he drove 4 hours to Paducah, KY. SUPRISE, SUPRISE, SUPRISE. The classroom was nasty and the room he had to stay in was nasty (cockroaches, spiders, and the room was in a really bad neighborhood). So he had to go to Wal-Mart and spend an extra $40.00 just on cleaning supplies so he could actually stay in that nasty place for 3 weeks not 5 to 7 days. The office staff were very lazy. He filled out apps for the 3 or 4 companies that they had and went back a coulple days to check on them and they didnt even have enough sense to fax them out. He had to stand and make sure she done it before he left the office. SO THEIR JOB PLACEMENT SUCKS. They dont have one! Maybe Swift or Werner can help you out but they rejected him also. So good luck. THE INSTRUCTORS WERE GREAT. Thats about the only thing good that can be said about this place. So if your thinking about MTC/Professional Truck Driving School you better rethink cause its a BIG RIP OFF!!! They was only worried about getting fast money. Yeah he has his CDL's but now hes $4,000 debt (on credit cards) and still jobless. My advice to anyone looking for a truck driving school stay as far away from them as possible. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF BIG TIME!!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SCHOOL. Most companies want 3 to 6 months OTR before they will even hire you and most wont even hire recent grads. Most of the companies are on hiring freeze for recent grads. And if anyone can tell me how to get the 3 to 6 months experience how can you get hired.

This is a fact for most schools right now I have a 5 year felony and even the companies that will hire you with a felony are on a hiring freeze and that not a good thing I have my CDL and learned from my dad how to drive a dump truck and I still can't even find a job doing that so don't let the schools tell you they can find you a job you have to do your research and find one that will help you I am thinking of going back to one that says they can find me a job driving bottom dumps I'd even settle for that right now

I went to MTC in 2005. I paid cash 3,000. and they put me in a hotel and I had a great time. our class was there 8 days. I then went home to drive tanker. Non hazmat. The instructors were great. My felony is 11 years old. I have a great record with 3 years OTR now. I'm pretty sure I could find a job if I really wanted another one.
