Drive for an o/o, small co., or one that does not use dac, which cancels out all the usual more popular employers. I personally believe that the sap program means nothing to most co.'s and their insurance co.'s. The main thing is whether or not you have stopped drug use or not. A person does not have the right to put the public in danger by using drugs and driving a 78 ft. 80000 lb. machine. The real answer to your question lies within yourself.

I can never understand why a guy would throw away his livelihood to get high. That would be like stealing a nickle item from your employer and loosing a $50,000 a year job. A nickle isn't worth $50,000.

Drugs aren't worth the problems they create. Try having the test invalidated. To do so you really have to get into Part 40 of the regulations. But understand the drug rules favor drivers not employers. So, go do your homework if you want to work again.

Why not try stop doing drugs if you haven't already. I agree local work is the best solution.
