i have lost my job after a postive drug test i went thur the sap program this is all new to me i was a op for 3.5 years now i am nothing so what is the best way to get a job
Drive for an o/o, small co., or one that does not use dac, which cancels out all the usual more popular employers. I personally believe that the sap program means nothing to most co.'s and their insurance co.'s. The main thing is whether or not you have stopped drug use or not. A person does not have the right to put the public in danger by using drugs and driving a 78 ft. 80000 lb. machine. The real answer to your question lies within yourself.
i understand and respect trucks i have drove over a million before any accident and good poeple do some bad things some times i dont do the drug all the time and havent in 2 months u are right co's dont care insurance co. dont care the company i was leased to dont care they gave my truck away i mean this has been a life lesson and i learned it well
u know i would like to get on with a o/op some where i run a truck with the best of them but i dont thinck i will buy another and its things like this that make poeple stop careing i have found a job its not the best but it a job driving truck
I can never understand why a guy would throw away his livelihood to get high. That would be like stealing a nickle item from your employer and loosing a $50,000 a year job. A nickle isn't worth $50,000.
Drugs aren't worth the problems they create. Try having the test invalidated. To do so you really have to get into Part 40 of the regulations. But understand the drug rules favor drivers not employers. So, go do your homework if you want to work again.
