I've got a decent driving record, I generally don't job hop, (I quit one job in the past year after three weeks because the rigs were not being repaired, and they wanted me to pay for the repairs when they were on the road), and I generally try to work with the team. My big problem is the companies I want to work for aren't hiring out of California.

Problem with that is, I'm trying to get OUT of California. I can't afford to stay here anymore.

Any help available?

I have a couple Mexican friends that were both trying to leave CA.

So they both made signs and stood at the freeway offramps. The first guys sign read, will work for food and one dollar.

The second guys sign read, All I need is 10 more dollars so I can go back home. Oddly enough at the end of the day, the second guy had 2 pocket full of 10 dollar bills and the other one had received just one dollar.

I suppose there is a lot to be said about how you market yourself.
