What is a blocklist?
When you're looking for employment, there are people you don't want to contact you - or even know you're looking for a job; like current employers, pushing recruiting firms or head hunters looking to sell your information. Your blocklist will prevent all three.
Our blocklist feature prevents your application from being matched to companies you don't like, block's companies from seeing your information in our resume data base, and prevents you from accidentally applying to your current employer.
Creating a blocklist.
To create a blocklist you must have an account and logged in. When you search jobs and review a company you are given three (3) options: “quick apply”, “save job” and “block company” - clicking “block company” will automatically add the company to your list.
Deleting a blocklist.
If you decide that you want to remove a company from your blocklist go to the company profile. Click “my blocklist” and click “remove” - remember you must be logged in to add or remove a company from your blocklist.
Suggestions.
A blocklist will protect you from getting calls and emails you don't want, but you have to use it to benefit from it – use it from the start! Create and account, and if you're currently employed find your employer on our site. If you can't find your employer, send us an email and we'll contact them about creating their free account (and then you'll be able to block them).
Once you've blocked your current employer, try searching for trucking companies by name you never want to hear from...then block 'em!
